About our doctor

Dr. Delores Craig graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1983. In 1985, she moved to New Mexico and managed a practice in northeast El Paso for three years. She purchased Solano Animal Clinic June 1988. After practicing for twenty years, she became interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine, specifically the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbals in controlling pain in her geriatric patients. As she has became more proficient, she began incorporating and offering these modalities for other medical conditions such as cancer, seizures, allergies, kidney disease.
   
           

Dr. Craig is an active member of the International Veterianary Acupuncture Society. She has served on the Education Committee since 2009. She volunteered as a Teaching Assistant for the 2008 2009 Basic Acupuncture course. She is the TA coordinator for the 2011-2012 IVAS Basic Acupuncture Course. 

Dr. Craig enjoys photography, underwater photography, scuba diving, hiking, and white-water rafting. She and her husband share their home with their two dogs, Killian (shown on the home page), Maximus, and Sylvester (pictured above as a kitten two years ago.)
